We left Casablanca by bus in the early afternoon, heading north towards the Kingdom of Morocco’s capital, Rabat. Apparently we left just around the time for a prayer.
The outskirts of Casablanca, the regions that the money from international investment hasn’t reached, look more like slums rather than what you’d expect from Morocco’s largest city.
Passing through the countryside of Morocco, poverty was omnipresent.
But no matter what area we passed through, every couple hundred meters there was a group of three Moroccan flag next to the highway.
We passed farmers taking care of their animals…
Some nice cloudscapes with mammatus…
Very green forests….
And eventually started approaching more populated areas again.
And then, after only about an hour by bus, we had arrived in Rabat – a city that ended up surprising me quite positively. But more on that later.
