Three-week American: Day Eleven – Impressions of Chicago

As with most of the cities I’ve visited so far the main part of my first day in Chicago consisted of walking around soaking up the atmosphere of Chicago, the city famous (of course not solely) from “the Blues Brothers”. So without much talking, I will just put a bunch of photos here and let them speak for themselves.20160716_105233_edited

After a visit to the art museum (The Institute of Art) we took the… well it’s not really a subway, because it drives above the roads (as anyone who watched the Blues Brothers will know)… to go to the Sears tower (which meanwhile is called Willis tower). But even though there is quite a nice view from the top… it doesn’t really make sense to take a photo of the skyline when you can’t see the main feature on it because you’re standing on it, and the skyline is all around you. Nonetheless, a great view.
